MLM Marketing Networks 10/19/2010
MLM marketing networks appear in many different forms on the Web. Some of these companies will even go as far as to tell prospective recruits that they are not MLM or Miuti-level Marketing businesses in one sentence and suggest that you invite your family, friends and neighbors to join their network and everyone of your invitee that joins the network will be placed under you in your downline. Okay, I get it! I understand that MLM represents something negative to a lot of people and these networks to which I refer rather not taint their business operation by referring to it as a MLM. What is being missed by these networks is the fact that many Web users were at one time or the other engaged in the MLM business and are able to recognize a MLM when they see one and therefore will not be turned off by the fact that an online business is a MLM but would probably be highly insulted by the notion that there is a blatant attempt to mislead them in order to have them join the network. That is a big turn off and therefore has the reverse effect of losing a potentially self-motivated, outgoing, personable recruiter and group leader. Another error often committed by some these network marketing businesses is gaining the trust of their recruits by making promises they are unable to deliver. Usually a person new to their networks is in search of a good product that is reasonably priced and provides the recruit an opportunity to earn a good enough commission when s/he makes a sale or recruit a another person who joins and makes a sale. Not communicating with your sales force is poor judgement in a MLM network; Folding up your tent and disappearing for any number of days is suspect; Disappearing for weeks is unforgiveable! The MLM networks of today must realize that they have a responsibility to create and maintain a reputable image so that the MLM marketers that represent their companies and networks while attempting to pedal products/services to friends, family and neighbors can receive a better reception and possible success in completing a few sales. Keeping in mind that the industry already incurred a black eye from the shady activities of the 1980s, the practicle approach to operating a MLM network is to maintain a squeaky clean image that will go a long way in keeping your business profitable for years to come.
